Plant Medicine & Qigong Class ~ Deep Nourishing Winter Roots, Sat 1/19
Incorporates tonic herbs, super foods and qigong for good health in the winter months
It’s winter – time of extreme yin and nourishing our roots. So it’s a perfect time to learn about plant medicines, including tonics and superfoods, and qigong and meditation practices that do just that!! That’s why we’re offering our next seasonal Plant Medicine class called Deep Nourishing: Winter Roots on Saturday January 19 from 9:30a-4:00p. Come join us to optimize your and your family’s health in the winter months! 🙂
In the class, we will taste and sample different medicinal elixir plants from around the world and learn to deliciously incorporate these kinds of herbs and superfoods into our lives and winter diets. We will also learn different forms of sitting, standing, and laying meditation to strengthen the body in winter as well as simple seasonally appropriate Qigong practices. These practices are easy to learn and help you feel so good! Yay!
Class will once again be at beautiful Hawthorn farm with its resident goats, bunnies, ducks, chickens, lots of squash and amazing veggies (like Kale!! :)) and a very enchanted forest! Our class will also include ample opportunity to sample different teas (Yum and warming!), beverages (more yum!), and yummy snacks (triple yum!) incorporating what we are teaching.
If you’d like more info, or have questions, RSVP here on my website. 🙂
