Incorporates qigong and springtime nourishing practices
It’s spring – time of lessening yin and and growing yang. So it’s a perfect time get outside, play and nourish our growing qi with wild foods, qigong and the ancient arts of free and easy wandering. That’s why we’re offering our next seasonal Plant Medicine & Qigong class called Wild Wandering & Wild Food on Saturday April 27 from 9:30a-4:00p. Come join us to optimize your and your family’s health in the springtime!
In the class, we’ll enjoy a fun and wild day of learning, exploring and playing in the springtime at Hawthorn farm. We will go on a forest walkabout, learn common wild edible plants and enjoy harvesting and cooking them into delicious treats, including dandelion fritters (Yum!), nettle pesto (super Yummy!!), and a wild greens salad (delicious and beautiful!!). In addition, we will explore nourishing life practices for the spring season including qigong exercises to smooth the flow of qi and our body, and the ancient art of free and easy wandering.
Class will once again be at beautiful Hawthorn farm with its resident goats, bunnies, ducks, chickens, lots of squash and amazing veggies (like Kale!!) and a very enchanted forest!
